Citizens of Bangladesh require a visa to travel to Chad. As there is no Embassy or Consulate of Chad in Bangladesh, visa applications must be submitted to the Consulate of Chad in New Delhi, India. Tourist Visa Requirements

• Original passport (valid for at least 6 months beyond travel dates)

• Three (3) completed and signed visa application forms

• Three (3) recent passport-size photographs

• Copy of confirmed travel itinerary

• Copy of recent bank statement or bank letter verifying sufficient funds

Business Visa Requirements

• Valid passport (at least 6 months beyond intended stay)

• Three (3) completed visa application forms

• Three (3) recent passport-size photographs

• Copy of round-trip airline tickets or a letter from a travel agent confirming ticket issuance

• Business Letter of Guarantee (typed on official company letterhead), addressed to:

  Embassy of Chad, Visa Section, Washington D.C.
  Must include:
  – Purpose of travel
  – Statement of financial support
  – Confirmation of return transportation
  – Signed by a senior officer (not the applicant)

Health & Vaccinations

• Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is strongly recommended

• Malaria prophylaxis and general travel vaccinations are also advised:

  • Cholera

  • Typhoid

  • Hepatitis A & B

  • Tetanus

  • Polio
